Emergency Management Communication System

Victim trackingWhen a disaster occurs, it is important to get accurate information to the appropriate people (often in multiple locations) quickly. When information is immediately compiled and available for analysis and evaluation, more informed decisions can be made faster.

Prior to an emergency, EMA managers do not always know what information will be most critical for emergency management.

  • The EMA Communication System allows management to quickly create new forms to collect information appropriate to the current emergency.
  • Each form can be instantly published on the web and available for data collection.
  • Many users can simultaneously collect data on Mobile Tablet PC units.
  • This software utilizes Smart Client technology, so that these computers do not have to maintain a network connection to collect data. Whenever a network connection is established, the collected data is sent to the central server.

Data is automatically aggregated at a central server. Authorized EMA personnel can access collected data from any workstation across the internet to make more informed decisions in managing the crisis.

Depending on the nature of the emergency, various personnel might be authorized to view the collected data, enabling teams from various organizations to collaborate.

The optional Data Aggregation Viewer allows authorized personel to pull the collected data down to their own computer and work with the aggregated data offline. This option allows Command Control Center personnel to sort, filter and search the collected data to make more informed decisions and provide appropriate information to others.
